Bringing Milfey Back

Hi my name is Lisa, I am a 37 year old mom of two beautiful girls Lillianna (2 years old) and Madelynn (2.5 months old). I am married to an awesome human being named Kristopher,we have been together for 9 years and married for 4 years. We also have two Maltese dog's named Sugar and Sachi, we are a very happy and loving family and are learning and growing everyday together with love and laughter in our hearts! I am a certified Massage Therapist since 1999 and a licensed Hypnotherapist since 2008. I have always loved the field of health & wellness, I enjoy applying it to my life, and my family and friends lives on a daily basis. I am also a published bikini model, and take acting classes, and have been in a handful of small commercials. Acting is my true love, but I have been on the slow boat with getting an agent and going on auditions, because being a mommy comes first and I have been in between weights and looks so much over the past 2.5 years, that I have not been consistent with my head-shots. I love acting because unlike modeling you don't need to be a certain height or weight you just have to be you, and bring your authentic self to whatever role you are playing and be current with your head-shots. Booking bikini photo shoots has been my main motivation to get back into shape post babies, I gained a whopping 80 lbs with Lillianna and 74 lbs. with Madelynn, both with the ending weight being 222lbs! ( now, I am 6 feet tall so I carry my weight a little different than an average sized lady) However, no matter how tall of a girl I am 222lbs was surly an eye popper! The hard part came after having Lillianna, losing the excess weight and getting back into my regular jeans seemed to far out of reach, let alone booking another bikini shoot, that seemed downright impossible, but I DID IT! When I did my first shoot's after having Lillianna, and the images started popping up around the Web, Facebook, and Instagram, my inbox was loaded with private messages asking and begging to know how I did it. There were also the public questions, usually ending in a zillion ! exclamation points and ? question marks asking me to spill my secret. I was flattered and surprised at how many friends, family, and acquaintances wanted to follow my plan. I also do everything naturally and organically, I don't believe in putting bad things into my body to make my results be seen faster. I am all about getting fit and healthy, the bonus of it all is that my pre baby jeans fit again and I looked dead sexy in them! Woo Hoo!! The victory didn't last long though, I got pregnant with Madelynn on my last set of photo-shoots, and my body morphed again. Now nearly 3 months post baby I am left with a big deflated tummy and a lot of weight distributed all over my body, I am still 209 lbs and this weight is not just going to fall off, its time to get to work. This brings me here, to write and share this blog with you and encourage and inspire anyone out there who thinks that bringing Milfey (M.I.L.F.-Wifey, a nickname my husband so lovingly gave me) back is impossible. I will be posting weekly pictures of my body in a pair of pre baby shorts and a sports bra to track my progress and blog about my successes and failures while embarking on the journey of bringing Milfey back!

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Banana Muffins 1/25/16
